The drawing is A4 size (in Europe), so in the US it's about 8.5 x 12 inches, so quite small. But I think that's what I love about it, cause smaller pieces take so much more time to make all the details, and I love sitting with my nose just above the paper and drawing some buckles, shades, etc. It's so much fun!
I made it with mechanical pencils. I generally use four types of mechanical pencils: 0,9mm (HB), 0,7mm (HB, B and 2B). I change them while drawing, but I usually use 0,7mm 2B, I think it's the best, cause it's soft and at the same time precise enough to make the tiniest details. The one that's 0,9mm HB is thicker and perfect for shading the background.
When my piece is finished I spray fixative all over the drawing, adding more agent to the places with more graphite on.
